Welcome to WeInterpret, LLC (“WeInterpret,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). WeInterpret provides a platform that connects attorneys, paralegals, court reporting agencies, and other professionals (“Clients”) with certified interpreters (“Interpreters”) for legal and professional interactions. Our Services include on-site, remote, and phone interpreting, primarily in Illinois but also offered remotely.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms and comply with them.

2. User Responsibilities

By using our Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, submitting an inquiry, or scheduling interpreting services.
• Use the Services in a lawful manner and only for the intended purpose of requesting or providing interpreting services.
• Not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the proper operation of the Services.
• Respect the confidentiality of any information shared during interpreting sessions, as well as the privacy of the interpreters, clients, and any third parties involved.

3. Interpreter Services

WeInterpret facilitates the connection between Clients and Interpreters but does not guarantee the availability, quality, or specific outcomes of any interpreting services. The Interpreters who provide services through our platform are independent contractors and not employees of WeInterpret.

WeInterpret makes reasonable efforts to ensure that all Interpreters meet professional certification and qualification standards. However, we are not liable for any issues or disputes arising from the interpretation services provided.

4. Payments and Fees

Clients agree to pay all applicable fees for services as outlined at the time of booking. Payment terms and rates are subject to change, and any modifications will be communicated in advance.

Payment Processing: Payment for services may be processed through third-party payment processors. By using our Services, you agree to the terms and conditions of any third-party payment service used by WeInterpret.

Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation and refund policies may vary based on the type of service booked. For specific details, please review our cancellation policy or contact us directly. WeInterpret reserves the right to withhold refunds for cancellations made without proper notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and features available on the WeInterpret website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the property of WeInterpret or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written consent.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• Engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services.

WeInterpret reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeInterpret shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the Services, even if WeInterpret has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall WeInterpret’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Services exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the six (6) months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

WeInterpret provides the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, reliability, or quality of the Services or any content provided through the Services. WeInterpret expressly disclaims any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WeInterpret, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

WeInterpret may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and without notice or liability. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Services.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.

WeInterpret reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Services after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
